Health benefits of Vitamin K2

Cardiovascular Health
Vascular calcification causes cardiovascular diseases such as arteriosclerosis, vascular stiffness, heart disease, and myocardial infarction.

In 2004 at Rotterdam, 4,800 participants over the age of 55 were investigated with the foods they consumed and their arterial calcium calcification results.

The analysis showed that participants taking vitamin K2 had a 50% reduction in arterial calcium calcification and a 46% reduction in heart disease mortality.

In other words, the study has confirmed that adequate intake of vitamin K2 is effective in preventing coronary artery disease.
